2004 Chevy Silverado 4wd wont engadge

I have a 2004 chevy silverado.. The service 4wd lights has been coming on for awhile now and when i would turn the truck off and back on it would go off and i could use my 4wd..now it doesnt come back on so i can select 4wd so i bought a new selector switch installed it and the service 4wd light is still on and I cant put it in 4wd.help me

Did you check to see if you are getting power to the 4wd actuator on the transfer case?
