2004 Chevy Silverado V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

When I switch from 2H to auto four wheel drive or 4H there is a humming noise heard in front end
Is this normal

is it heard when your driving down the road. you may need new bearings in you front diff. Ive seen alot of them go bad
