2003 Chevy Silverado starter does nothing

i do not have electric door locks when i turn the key to start the starter does nothing battrey is good. is there something in the security system that would disable yhe starter

Have someone crawl under the truck. While one person turns the key, have the other lightly tap the starter with a hammer. Let me know the result.
