The only issues I have had with knock sensors on those trucks is due to the fact that the well they are in (under intake manifold) gets water in it and corrodes the connection.Personally I install new sensors and wiring pigtails( connectors) on which ever one has water damage to prevent a comeback later, its a fair amount of work to get to them
