2003 Chevy Silverado manual steering

when i turn right it feels like i have manual steering,but when i turn left i have power steering.the other day i was changing my brakes and had it up on the jacksturned the wheel right to get the bolts out and it turned fine,put the truck back on the ground and hard to turn right again.keep in mind this is been like this for about 8 months.

Your intermediate steering shaft needs to be re-lubricated. Usually you can convince the dealer to pay for the repair even if the truck is out of warranty due to the fact that this is a well known GM problem. If you do need to pay for it, the repair should not cost more the $100.
