I got the fuel pump from the dealer and the directions said to discard the fuse from electric panel and replace it with the new one in the kit. I didn't get one with the kit. So I put the old one back in. It didn't knock before I changed the fuel pump and I don't know if the fuse has anything to do with it. I had to change the chassis plug which came with the kit.
