2003 Chevy Silverado Electrial Problems

During the day my break lights don't work expect the top one on the cab and at night all the break lights stay on all the time, and tonight all of a sudden my cruise control doesnt work now ; it was working earlier in the day. if this helps yesterday the service engine soon light came on and i took it to Auto Zone the checked it the sayed it could be EVAP Leak, or a new gas cap.i f u could please give me ur Advice because i dont know where to take it or start.

Welcome to the forum, as far as the brake lites check voltage and ground circuits. You can use a testlite at the stop lamp fuse, to check for voltage both legs. Faulty grounds can cause crazy things to happen. Maybe the tailamp circuit trying to go to ground through the brake lite circuit, don't know? If your sure the grounds are good, check the brake switch.
