Hello,
In order for the coils to produce enough output it needs to get correct amount of voltage in.
Check the connector to the coil and see if you have getting 12V+.
There could be too much resistance in the circuit, as a result the coil is not producing the strong spark.
The electronic ignition system uses an individual ignition coil for each cylinder. The powertrain control module (PCM) controls the ignition system through eight individual igniting control circuits
The PCM triggers an ignition coil by grounding the appropriate IC circuit using information from the crank sensor and camp sensor.
