I hear a popping or clicking noise when I am making a turn over an uneven surface. For example: While turning into the drive way or when I am turning while going over a speed bump. What should I check first? I was told by two other people that they had the same problem and it turned out to be the steering column. They said that the dealership had to grease the steering column through a "special fitting". Have you ever heard of this? If so, do you know where the grease zerk is and is it accessible?

That would be the intermediate shaft on the steering column. If there isnt a grease fitting, they (dealer) will drill and install one. Also might want to look at the shock bushings
