Transmission problem
2002 Chevy Silverado V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 142k miles

When I'm in park on an incline sometimes I can't always shift out of park right way, I have to really pull and then my car makes a loud bang noise from it shifting over about 3-5 gears. What can I do to fix this and what will make it stop happening?

Apply the parking brake prior to letting off of the brake when you park on a hill. You are probably placing the weight of the truck on the transmission, so it takes a lot of force to release the binding. If your parking brake is not working properly have it adjusted.
