Electrical problem
2002 Chevy Silverado V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

headlights go out on their own. can get them to come back on by raising and lowering the tilt wheel. but now they're out completely. suspect the mulitfunction switch.

A few questions first. Is the column loose at all? I could be a wire broke or the multi function switch. If the column is good and tight then the switch would be the first thing I would look at. Let me know what you find.

Well with that is sounds like the combination switch is getting hot and shutting off or something inside is just bad.
