2002 Chevy Silverado fuel leak

2002 Chevy Silverado V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a fuel leak in the area of the fuel tank but there is no leak in the tank itself. everytime i turn the truck on it barley starts and idles real low like its about to die, do you have any idea what the problem can be??

You need to remove the fuel tank. Either the steel line going to the tank has rusted, the rubber hose on the sending unit is broken, or is has come dosconnected.
