My silverado is making a ticking noise during acceleration. This ticking becomes faster as you step on the gas harder. The noise is not loud and if the heater or radio is on at all you can't hear it. Other than this the truck runs great. What could this be?

Thanks Andy

I have been seeing many with weak hydraulic lifters. That will cause a light ticking noise.

Is this something I should be concerned about?
