2001 Chevy Silverado rubber bumper on lower a frame

bumper on lower a frame is crumbling , would this cause a problem with front end noise?

I'm not quite sure what bumper you are asking about. If it is the rubber block between the frame and the suspension, yes, if the suspension bottoms out it will make a banging noise. But you would have to hit a bump pretty hard to do this. Please advise.with a little more detail.
