IT HAS JUST STARTED WHINING AND WHEN CHANGING FLUID IT WAS WAY TOO DARK ( LOOKED LIKE OLD MOTOR OIL ) THE REASON I CHANGED IT TO BEGIN WITH WAS IT STARTED SHIFTING REAL HARD AND THE CONVERTER WILL NOT GO INTO LOCK UP SO MY RPMS @65 STAY AT LIKE 2200. JUST CURIOUS THE TRANS HAS A WARRANTY FOR 100,000 MILES BUT IF I CAN AVOID LEAVING MY TRUCK AT A DEALER FOR 3 DAYS I WILL. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.

If it is warranteed for 100,000 miles and you have only 700 miles left of the warranty I think I would not be fooling around with it if you suspect you are in the process of having a major failure. I would get it to a dealer.
Take your CAPS LOCK off.
