2001 Chevy Silverado Fuel pump?

I have a 2001 Chevy Silverado with 150000 miles. Just recently had the fuel pump and filter replaced. Now it still having the same problem. Cranks sometimes and other times will not crank. They are stating it may be the relay switch. Any ideas?

when you say it wont crank do you mean the engine turns over but wont start or it doesnt even turn over? go pats
