2001 Chevy Silverado acceleration poor gas mileage

I own a 2001 Chevy Silverado Ext Cab. I live in So. Calif and the vehicle has approximately 180000 miles. I have noticed a significant decrease in gas mileage and a decrease in acceleration power...The vehicles appears to be stiff and resistant.

try replacing fuel filter, plugs and wires if this doesn't work then your cadilatic converters are going bad
