My alternator works sometimes and part of the way the other time.Do to me leaving the keys in the truck someone took them, I have the truck hot wired and want to know if this is affecting the performance

How is it hot-wired? There can be a few issues with preformance because of the way it is hot-wired But I must know how you did it...
