My pickup has a miss that is evident at slow idle and at low RPM's under load such as pulling up a steep hill in 3d gear below 1000 rpms. Under some circumstances, such as engaging the clutch in 4wd low on a hill, the engine will stall out, otherwise the miss simply jerks the truck. Power at higher RPMs does not seem affected. I have changed plugs and wires (no improvement) and added two consecutive injector cleaner applications. The fuel injector cleaner made the miss less frequent, but did not eliminate it and soon after the process, the miss came back full strength. What should I check, and how complicated will it be?

at this point i would check the mapp sensor, this sensor helps to monitor vacuum/load. also you may want to take a peek at your throttle position sensor
