2000 Silverado 5.3l Knock Sensor

Does anyone know where the knock sensor is located on a 5.3l? My check engine light is coming on and off and according to auto zone it's the knock sensor. I have one but I can't find it anywhere on the motor or bell housing. Also I was told that by disconnecting the battery it would clear the check engine codes, is that true?

The knock sensors are under the intake manifold, believe it or not. And there are actually two of them. I had one replaced a little while back, as well as a relay leading up to it.
