Took my truck for a drive one day and it ran fine. Shiftted from 4 hi to 2 hii no problems. Parked it over night and plugged block heater in because I in canada. Started truck next morning and my message centre tells me to service 4wd.I have a electronic shift transfer case with the auto 4x4 also. How can one day it run fine and then park it and without even moving truck it tells me to service 4wd and it wont even try shift into 4wd now. The light indicator beside 2hi will not even illuminate nor will any of the 4x4 lights. What could be problem?

Have it scanned for trouble codes. It most likely has a bad 4x4 switch in the dash.

Well I did run the codes on it with my programmerand it gave me u1026 and u1041.I figured out the the act fusewas blown. Sochanged it and it works it engages the transfercase. But now when I engage the transfer case it does not engage the front wheels. Almost like my transfercase is not spinning front drive shaft. Any suggestio?Ns

Have you done a second scan to see if there are any new codes?
