Hello, I have a 2000 chevy silveraldo 1500, I am having a surging problem during the time the transmission goes to shift and also driving on the highway. I have recently changed distributor cap, plugs, plug wires, fuel filter, air filter, transmission filter and fluid. It starts everytime but wants to bogg down during each shift when im driving in town and then boggs during a drive on the highway at 60. I have recently had my fuel pump hooked up and was running a steady 54psi so dont think thats it! Also had autozone hook up for a service engine light and the only thing it said was a multiple missfire! Any suggestions?

I have this same problem. I did a tune up last year and it temporarally fixed the problem it started doing it again about two months later. I drove it they way it was for about 8 months. It stalled on the highway one day. I took the distributor cap off there was a burn mark on the rotor bug and cap. I don't know what would cause this does anyone
