Electrical problem
2000 Chevy Silverado 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

My right rear tail light keeps going out. The brake light works and I've cross checked the bulb in the other light and the bulb is fine. I've also used a voltage tester to see if I have power in the socket and get no indication of power. This leads me to believe it is a fuse but I'm not too positive. Anyone know what could be wrong?

Check for power and ground at the wires going to the socket.

I checked the wires and there is no power to them at the socket or at the J box in the back
