I have a 2000 silverado that has been running great. I just came back from a 300 mile trip and parked the pickup for two days. Went to drive it and it started up fine, drove approx. 10 miles and the truck lost all engine power. It was like I had no trottle. When I stepped on the gas it would no accelerate and popped through the exhaust and acted like it was going to die. Put it in nuetral and reved up the motor, it stumbled at first until 2000 rpm, then it reved up fine. Put it in gear and it would not rev. Would pop and try to die. Got it home, changed fuel filter and drove it, same result. Limped it home and sat in driveway reving it up for ten minutes, drove it for 20 miles with no problem.
I am concerned that there is still some problem that will strike at the wrong time.
Any ideas what is going on and what I can check for?
Water temp is 200. Oil pressure is 60. Volts are 14.5.

Has the check engine light come on? Also, have you checked fuel pump pressure?

I wonder if the fuel pressure is low. A sensor would have kicked the check engine light to come on. Check the pressure. Here is a how to video:

Let me know what you find.

Also, make sure the catylatic converter is free and clear and not plugging up for you.
