my truck has a hard brake pedal but will not hardley stop the truck.I have pushed on the pedal pretty hard will stop slowly.

Could be a defective brake booster, vacuum hos to the booster is leaking.
Do this pump the brakes a few times and hold it in and start the car the pedal should sink a lil if the brake booster is okay-if not the booster is defective
