Hello again! My truck will crank but not start. The battery is fine, it has gas, and the fuses are ok. I do not hear the fuel pump turn on when I try to start the truck. The fuel pressure release valve on the throttle body has no pressure hardly. So I sprayed starter fluid in the air intake and the motor will briefly start then. So my question is besides removing the bed of the truck and checking the voltage at the fuel pump, where can I check it that might be easier? All I have is a meter in the garage, no scan tools. The check engine light is not coming on.

If you do not hear it turn on then either there is no power getting to it, or the pump is junk. Test the relay first. If you choose to go to the pump connection, the you should not have to take the bed off. You could probably manage by finding the plug in and disconnecting it to test for power. I have never taken off a bed to do either of these tasks. But if it makes it easier for you then do it. hop this helps out.
