How do I disconnect the cable joint under the cab floor so I can replace the rusty pan? it has a tag on it that says 4x4 and runs up on top of the trans and disappears. My 4x4 lever is on the floor between the seats so I don't know why this cable comes from under the dash and goes under the truck. It a sliding sleeve thing with threads? I have no clue what is is. If you help i will recommend your site to all my buddies !
