2000 Chevy Silverado anti lock brakes

my anti -lock brakes come on at different times when stoping some times they work no problem other times they come on and the road is not slick but no lights come on dash and no trouble codes set usally from font drivers side any ideas thanks craig

Try removing the front wheel speed sensors and cleaning the rust from the mounting surface.
