i have a loud roar or vibration sound when letting of gas or going down hill. going up a hill seems fine. also put rear of truck on stands ,after truck was put in drive and accelerated as speed slowed down alot of noise seem to come from differential.

Have you checked the differential fluid or tried changing it? If so, were there any metal shavings mixed with the gear lube?
