1999 Chevy Silverado Four Wheel Drive Automatic 170,00 miles

I have a 99 chev. z71 i just bought it when i crank it it goes almost to zero oil pressure and ticks then when gased the ticking stops and the pressure rises with acceleration and drops when stopping

Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge,if normal replace the oil pressure switch. If abnormal could mean oil pump and engine bearing.
