My 1999 silverado 4wheel drive started to pull real hard to the right after the rear wheels slip and goes away after restarting the vehicle or pulling over and backing up. I have it in 2 wheel drive when the problem starts and was just wondering if the antilock brakes had anything to do with it. I didnt notice the problem until it started to snow here. Also the hard pull seems to make the truck wonder while on slick pavement feels like im loosing control. Any thoughts?

Are the front wheels sliping when this happens? Was it on ice or snow?

Yes it was on snow when the slipping happened but then i pulled out on to dry pavement and it started to pull to the right. And while turning to the left it makes a very funny feeling in the front almost like your on dry pavement in 4 wheel drive. Turning to the right there really isnt any noticeable noise other than the pulling. Drove the truck about 80 miles this week end with no problems but the pavement is dry now. Can the anti lock brakes lock up one wheel and keep it locked?
