1998 Chevy Silverado used motor

1998 Chevy Silverado V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

replaced motor with used one starts up but dont stay running long only a few seconds sounds like running out of fuel but i have fuel at purge valve used motor is out of a 1996 same 5.7 vortec.

Did you check fuel pump pressure? Did you change sensors, injectors... from the old engine to the new one?
