looking atquestion forum others have same problem with dome light staying on but have not found answer or atleast something to check to fix problem

First, do you have a remote keyless entry?

Secondly sounds like a faulty Interior Lamp Control Moduleor keyless entry control module.

Do lights go off when ignition key is put in ignition and key is "on"? Notice any noises before this happened?

I feel stupid somehow when I put dome light back in I pinched the wires to cause the light to stay on, I still don't how I did it but I did, but thanks for the reply i'm sure I will use this site in the future.

Dont feel stupid, sometimes the best technicians can make a simple mistake like that, goes to show to always double check.
