1997 Chevy Silverado removing distributor

What do i have to do to remove my distributor. I changed my rotor nd cap and broke screw in the distrbutor.

very common the dist breaking. most people just use zip ties to hold it on. if you are going to do it the right way i applaud you. it is very important to mark the distributor before removing it. if you mark rotor position and dist base position you will be ok. if you get it wrong then the check engine light will come on and you will have to take it to a shop to have it set. there is no way of setting it without a scan tool. if you are within 8 degrees of timing it will not come on.
