the cable from the interior to the hood latch has broken now how do I get into the engine compartment?

try ging fromt eh bottom of the truck in front or maybe a long scrediver type thing and hit the bottom of the hood latch. It will take some time and work but it will open then change the cable. or tie a cable or string type so you can open your hood from the outside...
