I recently purchased this vehicle and when I turned on the A/C it blows just not cool. When I had a friend look at it they checked and it did have freon in it but noticed when the compressor is grounded the A/C works fine however the compressor will not shut off even after you turn the A/C off. I dont want to ruin the compressor so it is unhooked. Do you know what could be the problem?

you will need a wiring diagram to see what wire does what. is the compressor hard wired or factory wired? do you know if your low pressure switch is working. that maybe stuck and not turning on the compressor
