1996 Chevy Silverado starting it up

When starting my truck hot it feels like it wanats to run backwards. Once it starts it runs fine. Ive checked timing and it retarded to much but timing is correct. Please help obeewon your my only hope, lol

Okay, I'm confused. You mentioned that the timing is retarded too far but it's okay.

As far as the timing is concerned, it is taken care of by the computer. Have you checked the crank position sensor?
