1995 Chevy Silverado installation of hood from goodmark

i just bought a new hood for my 95 silverado , need instuctions on how to install.

Hi Molly
This is pretty simple. raise your hood, you should have a hood light unplug or remove this light.

now you need two people,three is better.
on the driver side and the passenger side.
you have bolts holding the hood have helpers hold hood in place and remove these bolts.


remove hood try and get bolts back in new hood close to where old ones were.


once bolted slowly close hood and watch alignment to make sure it clears the fenders. and also that it is sitting on the right spot in the hood latch.



if closes ok and releases ok check hood grooves on both sides. make sure the hood and fender gap is the same on both sides.


reinstall your hood light if your new one did not come with one.


change the latch assy on front of hood if you did not get a new one with your hood..
