1995 Chevy Silverado Engine

I have a 1995 chevy pick-up that almost dies when stepping on the accelerator or just driving or at idle. If I turn off the ignition while the engine is running and turn it back on before the engine dies it fixes it for about 2 minutes and back to chugging and back firing. Could this be my EGR valve or something else.

Have you checked the throttle possession sensor
