Transmission problem
1995 Chevy Silverado V8 Two Wheel Drive 202000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
I installed a new clutch set. After getting it all done, the clutch would release only about half-way. I thought I may have done something wrong so I took it all apart to check and took the clutch off and back to the store. I got a different brand, plus a new master cylinder and slave cylinder. I made sure everything was put back correctly. Still the same problem. The only way I can get it to shift without grinding is to take the rubber stopper off where the clutch pedal lever hits. It allows more travel and I can shift it then, but just barely. What do you think?Do you think it could be a problem with the clutch fork and pivot ball?
