Transmission does not go in reverse easily, I have to rev the engine to get it to move. I have had the transmission serviced every 50,000 since it was new and the fluid is full and does not smell burnt. I am not having any problems in the forward gears. Am I looking at a major repair or could it be something minor.

Thanks

Could be the following reverse clutch burnt, worn, or leaking.Direct/reverse servo piston seal cut/leaking. You need to see a transmission shop and get it pressure tested to find out more-
