I just bought a 1994 Chev. Silverado 1500. Pretty much mint condition with 60,000 miles. My problem is in the directional signal switch. The switch contains directional switch, wiper & mist control, cruse control, high & low for head lights. The problem is intermittent, either everything works or nothing works with the exception of the high low head light part. I have tried several things, when nothing is working, but haven't come up with anything one thing that seems to be relating to the problem. Hope you have an idea.
Thank you mike

Mainly when it is working I have utilized all functions to see if one creates the problem. No luck. Tried the same scenario when not working. No luck.

wiring inside the steering column could have a bare spot that rubs somewhere intermittently, open up column and inspect the wiring.
