1994 Chevy Silverado pressure switch in compressor

1994 Chevy Silverado V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

why does the color of the switch matter and how would know the color if the compressor was replaced and one was not put in the new compressor? Can you go to the dealer with the vin number and get a new switch?

asolutely. you will need to give them the last eight digits and you will get the right part. they can tell what gear ratio, if it has heavy or light duty suspension, every option the truck came with factory
