I have a 94 chevy Silverado. When I press the brakes I have to push in pretty far to get any actual braking power. Also it is pretty jumpy at some points. I was wondering if it was the brake pads. And also what type of brake pads should a I use if it is the brake pads that are the problem. Thank You.

Could be worned pads, but 1st check the brake master cylinder fluid level if low refill it and bleed the brakes and see what happens.
