I had replaced the Idle Air Control Valve thinking that was the problem with my idle but it was not. When I rev up the engine, whether it's warm or cold, it takes between 3 and 5 seconds before the engine starts idling down. When I push in the clutch the idle stays around 1100 to 1300 rpms all the time. I also have already sprayed carb cleaner around the base of the throttle body where it bolts on the intake manifold and the engine doesn't idle up or anything so I know that there isn't a leak. Also, this truck is a 3/4 ton with a 5.7 liter engine. What could be the problem?
