My truck has a loose steering wheel; it shifts up and down when I am trying to drive, but it steers o.k., but the shifts makes it difficult. How do I take the steering wheel apart and tighten it?

the same thing happened to my chevy you need to take off the in the center of your steering wheel and get a steering wheel puller to take it off then take out the ignition and shifter. then you will see two holes with star bolts in them pull the bolts out put lock tight on them and screw them back in and put it back together.
