1990 Chevy Silverado hey

I have a 1990 chevy truck with a 350ci, it runs fine till I shut it off and restart it right after shuting it off it wont start. Wait about 5 mins and it will start and repet. Please help me to figure this out thank you.

I suspect the crank position sensor, but the best thing to do is verify what is missing when you try to restart, fuel or spark/
