I've just removed my converter cover to see if my converter was in all the way because it wouldn't go into gear and after removing the bolts that hold the converter to the flywheel I found that the converter was not all the way in so I made sure that the converter clunk in twice making sure that both splines were in. Now my issue is that the space between the flywheel and converter is about half an inch. Didn't think nothing of it so I bolted it back up and tested it and it still doesn't go into gear. So my question is, is the gap between the two suppose to be that far apart because when you bolt it back up the converter seems to get pulled back out.
