i have a 1989 4wd z71 while on a recent trip i got up in the morning and the clutch pedal went to the floor
after checking the fluid and the system the master cilinder and line was replaced "the system was a pain to bleed especialy since it was so simple" then no problems two day after i returned home this happened again this time the slave was replaced and againe the hose ,
this time when i pump the pedal the clutch only moves 1 inch and when you let off the fluid runs out of the slave cilinder,I gave up and took it to a local shop they said the slave was bad and they replaced it .
now the clutch works but only for a moment press the clutch shift ,if you hold it down it leakes out and you have to press it again
all components have been replaced at least 1 some 2 times there are only three parts the system is full of dot3 brake fluid is the master bad ?
