1988 Chevy Silverado truck makes noises after starting comm

After starting the truck loud noises comming from the transmission area. It will stop and start, like something has come lose??? It make this noise as you drive or in park???

Remove the inspection plate and check to make sure the converter or flywheel haven't come loose.
